Meet the Team

Dr. Key, DSW, MSW, LCSW

Founder & Clinical Director

Welcome! I’m Dr. Key, a Doctorate-level Licensed Clinical therapist and the founder of Key to Change Counseling Services, Corp.—a Christian-based group practice committed to holistic, culturally responsive, and clinically excellent care.

I founded Key to Change in 2014, shortly after the birth of my third child. What began as a small, faith-fueled vision has grown into a thriving practice that is still intentionally small enough to maintain meaningful one-on-one connection, but expansive enough to meet the evolving needs of the communities we serve. I lead with a servant’s heart, always rooted in compassion, excellence, and purpose. I’ve built a team—affectionately known as “TeamKey”—made up of passionate, diverse, and talented therapists who reflect the same vision I had when I started this journey: to bring healing, hope, and transformation, one session at a time.

My academic path started at Monmouth University, where I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. It was during college that I was invited to a Christian church service that changed the course of my life. That pivotal moment shaped not only my personal faith but also how I show up professionally. I later earned my Doctorate from the University of Southern California and went on to earn my Clinical Supervisor certification from Rutgers University. Since 2021, I’ve had the privilege of returning to Monmouth University—this time as an adjunct Professor—where I mentor and teach future therapists at both the Undergraduate and Graduate level.

In therapy, I prioritize connection and authenticity. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone of healing. My style is grounded, relatable, and direct, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and empowerment. I utilize a range of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-based interventions, always tailored to each client’s individual goals and values.

As a Christian counselor, my work is deeply anchored in faith, and I am always open to incorporating spiritual guidance for clients who desire it. However, I also value inclusivity and honor where each client is in their own journey—whether or not spirituality is part of it.

Clients can expect a welcoming, affirming, and goal-oriented space where they feel seen, supported, and challenged to grow into the best version of themselves. Whether you are navigating anxiety, grief, burnout, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, I’m here to walk alongside you with wisdom, empathy, and hope.

At Key 2, we believe healing is possible—and we’re honored to be part of your journey.

Staff Therapist

Welcome! I'm Alexis, a Licensed Professional Counselor based in New Jersey and a proud member of TeamKey at Key to Change Counseling Services, Corp.
I specialize in working with individuals who feel “stuck” or overwhelmed, and who are looking for clarity, purpose, or a new beginning. Whether you're navigating a major life transition, feeling disconnected in your relationships, or simply trying to make sense of your emotions, I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth.

I earned my Master’s in Education and Counseling from Monmouth University and have a strong foundation of experience supporting individuals across a variety of backgrounds and life circumstances. My work has included providing care in higher education and clinical settings, with a focus on supporting LGBTQ+ and BIPOC populations, as well as those facing identity concerns, stress, anxiety, depression, or relational and social struggles.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, person-centered, and tailored to your unique story. I believe that each person brings with them a set of strengths—even when they don’t always feel visible. In our work together, I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness based-practices. These tools help us identify patterns, manage emotions, and create sustainable change rooted in self-awareness and compassion.

As a therapist at Key to Change Counseling Services, Corp.—a Christian-based group practice—I’m proud to be part of a team that values compassion, integrity, and holistic care. While the practice is rooted in faith, we are committed to supporting individuals from all walks of life, regardless of spiritual or religious background. My approach is not faith-based, but I deeply respect the values that guide our practice. I meet each client where they are, creating a safe, inclusive space where your beliefs, identity, and experiences are honored. You do not need to identify as religious or Christian to feel safe, seen, or supported here.

What can you expect from our work together?
Our sessions will be a space for reflection, insight, and forward movement. You can expect to gain practical tools to manage daily stress, strengthen your emotional resilience, and deepen your connection to yourself and the people around you. Most importantly, you’ll be met with warmth, authenticity, and a deep belief in your capacity for growth.

If you’re ready to take that first step, I’d be honored to support you on your path to becoming the most empowered and grounded version of yourself.

Kathleen DosReis, LAC

Multilingual Staff Therapist

Welcome! I’m Kat, a Licensed therapist at Key to Change Counseling Services, Corp., where faith, clinical excellence, and cultural humility come together to support lasting transformation.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked extensively with children, young adults, and families in a variety of settings—including schools, in-home programs, outpatient clinics, and private practice. I have a deep passion for supporting at-risk youth and those navigating complex life transitions, including immigration-related challenges. My heart is to walk alongside clients through the valleys of life with a spirit of compassion, truth, and hope.

As a multilingual therapist, I offer counseling in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, ensuring that care is accessible, affirming, and culturally sensitive. Having a multicultural background myself, I understand how important it is to be seen and heard within your cultural context—and I strive to create a safe, respectful space for clients of all backgrounds.

My therapeutic approach is both integrative and faith-rooted. I combine evidence-based practices—like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed interventions, and solution-focused strategies—with sound biblical counseling for clients who desire to incorporate their Christian faith into therapy. I address a range of concerns including life adjustments, anxiety, depression, trauma, marital support, and spiritual struggles, and am committed to honoring each client’s individual journey and goals.

At Key to Change Counseling Services, Corp., a Christian-based group practice, we believe healing happens through connection—with Jesus, with ourselves, and with others. Whether you’re seeking Christian counseling grounded in Scripture or prefer a more traditional therapeutic approach, I will meet you where you are. I aim to be a steady, supportive presence in your life, offering both practical tools and spiritual encouragement to help you navigate challenges and discover your God-given potential.

In our work together, you can expect a space that is nonjudgmental, thoughtful, and centered on your growth. I am here to help you process life’s challenges, strengthen your emotional resilience, and deepen your connection to what matters most—your faith, your identity, and your relationships.

It would be an honor to support you on your journey toward healing, hope, and restoration.

Simone Graham, LSW

Staff Therapist & Intake Coordinator

Welcome! I’m Simone, a Licensed Clinical therapist at Key to Change Counseling Services, Corp., a Christian-based group practice dedicated to compassionate, culturally sensitive, and clinically excellent care.
I deeply honor and respect the foundation of our practice and approach each client with the kindness, grace, and empathy that align with those values. I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive space where clients of all backgrounds and belief systems feel truly seen and supported.

I specialize in working with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, negative self-image, identity-related concerns, trauma, and major life transitions. My approach is rooted in warmth, authenticity, and—most importantly—kindness. I believe kindness is the foundation of effective therapy. When clients feel safe, cared for, and free of judgment, true healing can begin. My goal is to meet each client with compassion and patience, creating space for growth at their own pace.

I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Monmouth University and am a Trauma-Informed clinician with a broad range of experience, including crisis intervention, behavioral therapy, and hospital case management. These experiences have helped me develop a flexible and responsive therapeutic style that centers the individual needs and lived experiences of my clients. I also bring a strong commitment to cultural humility, ensuring that therapy is always a collaborative and respectful process.

In session, I often incorporate creativity and holistic practices such as art, nature-based reflection, and mindfulness to help clients express themselves in ways that feel authentic and empowering. My goal is not only to help clients develop effective coping strategies but also to uncover and heal the deeper roots of their challenges so they can experience lasting transformation.

Clients working with me can expect a space that is kind, open, and encouraging. We will explore your story together with curiosity, care, and respect. Whether you’re navigating a difficult season, processing past pain, or simply seeking a deeper connection to yourself and others, I am here to support you.

Therapy with me is about honoring who you are, building on your strengths, and helping you move toward a life that feels grounded, peaceful, and full of purpose.

Natalie Lowe, LCSW

Staff Therapist

Welcome! I’m Natalie, a Licensed Clinical therapist at Key to Change Counseling Services, Corp., where compassion, faith, and evidence-based care come together to support your healing journey.

I specialize in creating a warm and supportive space for clients to process life’s challenges and rediscover their strengths. As a therapist, my goal is to help you navigate difficult seasons, find clarity in the midst of emotional overwhelm, and walk with confidence toward the life you desire.

Before entering the field of social work, I worked as an educator—an experience that shaped my belief that every person has a unique story, and that understanding these stories with empathy and care can be life-changing. This deep compassion for others led me to pursue a Master’s in Social Work from Widener University, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. Since then, I’ve had the honor of supporting clients dealing with grief, chronic illness, relational challenges, and major life transitions, while continuing my passion for youth development as a middle school counselor.

At Key to Change, a Christian-based group counseling practice, I offer a therapeutic approach that is both clinical and faith-rooted. For clients seeking Christian counseling, I integrate biblical principles and prayer into the therapeutic process. For those who prefer a traditional approach, I tailor care that is client-centered, inclusive, and nonjudgmental.

My approach is integrative and responsive—I draw from a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Guided Meditation. I believe in equipping clients with practical tools for emotional regulation, boundary setting, and personal empowerment, while also creating space for deeper healing, reflection, and growth.

As a therapist licensed in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, I’m honored to have the opportunity to serve individuals and families across state lines. I live in New Jersey with my husband of 30 years, and I bring both professional experience and life wisdom into every session.

In our time together, you can expect to feel seen, valued, and supported—whether you are seeking spiritual guidance, emotional healing, or practical tools to manage life’s challenges. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I am committed to walking alongside you every step of the way.
